In doing so, the transcription service is able to avail the voice files, and ensure prompt return of transcribed material. The type of voice file to be retrieved from the folder and sent can be determined by specifying the audio file extensions and hence the software will not pick up any file without the set, specific file extension;such as “.wav”, for example. Apart from file-type, file-size settings can also be enabled to filter unwanted files and zero-byte files by adjusting the “Excluded file-type settings”.There is also provision for setting the period for maintaining the backup of the dictation files.
